Matilda Bishop is an award-nominated illustrator, author, and environmental communicator based in Queensland. With over a decade of experience creating educational artwork and storytelling resources for councils, wildlife parks, and conservation programs, Matilda blends art, design, and science to inspire curiosity about the natural world.

Her school and OSHC incursions bring creativity to life through drawing, writing, and design - helping students connect with their own imagination while learning about nature, storytelling, and creative communication.

Join children’s author and illustrator Matilda Bishop for an inspiring storytelling and writing session. Matilda reads one of her children’s books and guides students through creating their own stories - exploring rhythm, rhyme, and character illustration.
